Sarah Day our Founder + Principle Planner is currently one of only four wedding planners in the United States to have won this prestigious award. All other recipients are Wedding Planners from other countries around the world. I think you would agree that our small town girl from The Pacific Northwest who moved across the country and created SAS has done o.k. for herself. {wink wink}
The Belief organization represents over 25 countries with thousands of members that feature only the most beautiful weddings in the world. The Sixth Edition Winners are from 7 different countries. It’s hard to imagine being included in such a distinguished group of wedding planners on an international scale. But here we are humbled by the fact that we produced one of the most beautiful weddings in the world this year.

There are now three categories in the award nominee process which include The Best Wedding Concept, Special Photo, and a Destination Wedding. Which is a new category and we loved seeing this category get added.
The images you see above here captured the SAS Wedding Concept for Natalie + Freddie’s Savannah Destination Wedding. The challenges that can arise when no one actually lives where the wedding is going to take place is very real to overcome. Natalie + Freddie lived in Ohio, we at SAS are based out of Atlanta, and family of the couple were in Jacksonville Florida. So to say we used Skype, Email, Pinterest, and Texting would be an understatement. Thank goodness for our SAS Client Site that allows us all to log in anywhere in the world.
One of the really special things about this wedding was the photography. The Happy Bloom still shoots on real film… yes they do still exist. These gorgeous images have not been retouched and truly captured the genuine moments of this wedding.
Everything about this wedding was just picture perfect. We had a blast creating and designing this hand in hand with Natalie.
The end to a perfect wedding day definitely included a Candied Bacon Late Night Snack before Natalie + Freddie were whisked away in a traditional Savannah Pedi Cab.
