Lindsay + Jamie | Real SAS Wedding | #lovewins

Madison Barn at Oakleaf Farm Atlanta Wedding Photography- Lindsay + Jamie - Six Hearts Photography_1204-X3

People often ask me if my job is stressful and how I have done this for so many years. And I can tell you that, no I am not stressed out by my career path and I do this because I not only love wedding but I love sharing in beautiful love stories like this. My personal involvement with my clients runs so much deeper than just helping to choose vendors or creating a timeline. More on that later… but for now, please enjoy this amazing couple!

Here are some wonderful statements from the couple as seen in Gay Weddings and Equal & Forever. Where we are truly honored to be published.

Jamie and Lindsay met through mutual friends, and had their first conversation at a fundraiser. They were introduced then ended up talking all afternoon and into the night.

Jamie proposed to Lindsay in December 2013, on Friday the 13th. She had been holding on to the ring for a couple of weeks, trying to decide on the perfect time. Jamie had Lindsay’s father’s blessing and wanted to involve the family so all could share in the excitement.  Jamie decorated the apartment with extra Christmas lights and Lindsay giggled when she walked in at the ones that weren’t so perfectly hung. Jamie presented Lindsay with a gift. The card was a long, heartfelt note. Inside the box were 40 pictures of the couple and underneath the photos there was an ornament with the date and the words “She said yes.” Jamie got down on one knee and asked Lindsay to marry her.

During their ceremony, Jamie and Lindsay celebrated with a tree ceremony. They chose a dogwood tree, the state tree of Lindsay’s home state, Virginia.

“My family is from up north (PA, mostly), so we really wanted to throw them a “southern affair” when they visited Georgia. Our welcome bags at the hotel were filled with items from Georgia based companies, the favors incorporate Georgia (and my home state of VA). The food and decor is also very southern. So we are having a LEGAL lesbian wedding in small town Georgia. Pretty damn cool if you ask me. :)”
