SAS had the privilege of designing and managing the Anya Bridal Night of Fashion for the 3rd year in a row. But this year we were also honored to debut the new Spring 2017 Justin Alexander Collection in Atlanta!!! (no pressure)
With this being our 3rd annual production and a scene of having some overachievers on board there was no pressure at all to make this the biggest & best fashion show yet. Not to mention “The Justin Factor” debuting his Spring Collection in the Southeast and giving a way a wedding dress. (We Got This!)
As we mentioned before this is one of our favorite events to produce. And it also takes some of the most time. You wouldn’t think that a 3 hour event with a 35 minute fashion show would be so all consuming but did we mention we have to turn a warehouse into an event space…
Calling in our Veteran Vendor team with a few new ones on-board this year also. We dove into the design faze of how to fit even more people into the space without losing the intimate feeling of past events. Since our main attraction was the debut of the Justin Alexander Spring Collection we used a Black dance floor for the run-way with some amazing up-lights in a soft champagne drape. Our VIP Anya Brides were front and center in the middle of the runway! This allowed for the whites, ivory’s, and blushes of the collection to really pop against a neutral backdrop without getting washed out.
Ramona with Perfect Wedding Cake totally outdid herself with a custom wedding cake decorated with one of Justin’s dress designs. Villa Christina Hyatt Perimeter was our caterer again but boy did they knock it out of the park with their chef attended stations and the SAS Sweet Station!
If you haven’t used the Trish McEvoy makeup line yet … wow are you missing out! Shannon Coats the Regional Makeup Artist for Trish McEvoy was in the house to create soft bridal looks with a pop for a wonderful wedding day look. We personally use her lash curling mascara here at SAS and it’s the most amazing mascara EVER!!!
AHHHH and there he is, the man of the hour Justin. I think we all love him as much as JT! Justin flew in from NYC to personally attend this debut fashion show and give away one of his gown to 1 very very lucky bride.
If for some reason you don’t know about the Justin Alexander Collection … we will give you a pass since this is his first debut in the Southeast. Shhh don’t tell NYC they weren’t first this year!
A little bit more about the collection…
Justin Alexander debuted on the bridal fashion scene as T&G Bridal in Brooklyn, New York in 1946, a time when women were renouncing the idea of clothing as mere necessity and embracing fashion as a way to express femininity, confidence, and beauty. Since its humble roots, Justin Alexander has become a contemporary designer and manufacturer of mid- to high-end bridal gowns and accessories.
Inspired by the intersection fashion trends and the needs of real brides, Justin Alexander designs the perfect wedding day look with stunning silhouettes, adorned necklines and high attention to detail.
Justin Alexander maintains a North American headquarters in New Jersey and a European headquarters in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, with regional offices in New York City, London, and Hong Kong. More than 1,500 authorized retailers worldwide carry one or more of the Justin Alexander collections.
From Warehouse to Runway we are so completely honored and exhausted for our part in producing the Night of Fashion yet again. But after this night even we don’t know how we can top it in the future.
We almost forgot to talk about the other men that stole the show from Savvi Formalwear! We are beyond proud of the the look we achieved this year and after a nap or two we might start thinking about next year.
Love Always!
xoxo
