Pantone Color of the Year | Rose Quartz | Unveiled Weddings Magazine Release

Unveiled0416-010.jpg

Because apparently we don’t know how to do just one thing at a time … we combined events with this gorgeous color palate to showcase a magazine and a vodka all on the same night. SAS had the privilege of designing and planning the Release Party for Unveiled Weddings Magazine this spring. And that same night we were able to combine a launch for the Cathead Vodka company in the Atlanta area. Talk about multitasking!

We started with a color theme and what better way then to seek inspiration from  the Pantone Color of the Year 2016. Which happens to be Rose Quartz. We also should confess that here at SAS we have a secret love affair for a fabulous French Rosé Wine so that’s where we grabbed our inspiration from. Now how we ended up from a  French Rosé to Vodka … well that’s a story for another time.

WHAT IS THE PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR?

A symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.

For the first time Pantone introduces two shades, Rose Quartz and Serenity as the PANTONE Color of the Year 2016. Rose Quartz is a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. Serenity is weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, bringing feelings of respite and relaxation even in turbulent times. Well in our quest for the perfect color palate in planning the Weddings Unveiled Magazine Release Party we selected the Rose Quartz. But we also decided to give it a little twist. What would a SAS Party be without a fun twist … right?

Pulling together an amazing vendor team was our next task. Hi Note Stationary designed an amazing invitation and had samples of their work on display. A Pinch Bakery showered us with Cake Pops and sweet treats. And if we needed more sugar we had Cult Carts on hand spinning fresh Cotton Candy until our blood sugar burst.

Classic Party Rentals was a dream to work with in helping to create a signature table-scape in conjunction with Edge Design Group.

And now for the fabulous Honeysuckle Cathead Vodka that we got to participate in. Don’t worry we always have Uber on call. #theresalwaysuber

This was one of those fabulous nights where we not only had to work but we got to have fun. It’s amazing we get to share our passion for parties with the world the way we do. So grateful for this night and all those who participated in it.

xoxo
